Entry Requirements
Entry to the Sixth Form for all pupils is dependent upon achieving good GCSE results - normally 7 GCSEs at grade 6 or above (including Maths and English), with at least a 7 in your chosen subjects. We also ask prospective pupils joining us from other schools to provide a report from your current school confirming that you are a suitable candidate to sit A-levels and we invite you to come in for a short interview. Below is an overview of the admissions process into Sixth Form at Queen's. The A-level history course is challenging. It’s advisable that you have a minimum of a level 6 (B grade) at GCSE. High levels of literacy are needed. Candidates who have not studied the subject at GCSE level can still consider History at A-level.
