Course summary
Business has changed. Not just in the real world where the traditional business models are being ripped up as brand after brand goes into bankruptcy, but also in the subject itself. The subject now incorporates far more business-relevant topics that pupils will end up using in their high-powered future careers in the business world. By using the department’s own real-world experience, it is in this area that the department excels and pupils can really see where their new technical abilities, such as investment appraisal, strategy development and viral marketing can take them in the future. But technical skills only get you so far. Arguably more important in the new business world of today and the future, will be the ability to change, react and inspire. These are business skills that studying Business at Warwick will develop. By interacting with local, national and international businesses, our pupils of today are developing into the leaders of tomorrow.
