Entry Requirements

At least 5 GCSE grades at 6 or above and Maths and English at a minimum of grade 5. Entry is competitive and spaces are limited so most students have significantly higher grades. Some students who only just make the entry requirement are asked to enter a probationary or review period. At least a Grade 6 in both GCSE English Language and English Literature is ideal, but often pupils with lesser grades thrive with the freedom of thought encouraged at A-Level. A willingness to open your mind to new ideas, an eagerness to participate in class debate, to read independently and widely are the most important requirements.
