Entry Requirements

At least 5 GCSE grades at 6 or above and Maths and English at a minimum of grade 5. Entry is competitive and spaces are limited so most students have significantly higher grades. Some students who only just make the entry requirement are asked to enter a probationary or review period. At least a Grade 6 in GCSE PRE. Ideally a similar grade in English Literature (Grade 6 required if no previous study of PRE). A willingness to grapple with challenging texts and ideas, read widely, and debate confidently.
