Assessment

Paper 1: Listening, reading and writing 2 hours and 30 minutes 50% of the qualification Listening and responding Reading and responding Translation into and from German. Paper 2: Writing 2 hours 20% of the qualification Written response to a text (300 words) Written response to a film (300 words). Paper 3: Speaking Internally conducted and externally assessed 21-23 minutes (including 5 minutes preparation time). 30% of the qualification. Part 1: discussion on a sub-theme of a stimulus card. Part 2: presentation and discussion of the student’s individual research project.
