Course summary

In the Sixth Form Art is a subject that suits the motivated and creative student who is prepared to work consistently. The pupils continue to work in a broad range of media. Students select the themes and ideas that they wish to pursue. There is an emphasis on experimentation with materials, processes, creating ideas and original outcomes. The history of Art is studied as an important part of the course. Trips to galleries and museums form an integral part of each pupil's work providing opportunities for students to study works first-hand.
