Geography

Course summary

Geography at A level bridges science and the arts, and dovetails neatly with most other subjects. The new course is very interesting and challenging as it covers a wide range of topics, which overlap with many A levels studied in the Sixth Form. To study Geography at A level it is essential to have studied GCSE Geography. As a subject which involves numeracy, literacy and evaluative skills, Geography can be studied with arts or science subjects. At degree level, Geography, as a social science, may be taken as either a BA or a BSc course.
