Assessment Methods: Paper 1: Listening, Reading and Writing, 50% of A level (2 hours 30 minutes) • Listening comprehension • Reading comprehension • Translation into English (a passage of minimum 100 words) • Translation into German (a passage of minimum 100 words) Paper 2: Writing, 20% of A level (2 hours) • Essay on set film (approximately 300 words) • Essay on set text (approximately 300 words) Paper 3: Speaking, 30% of A level (21 - 24 minutes, including 5 minutes preparation time) • Discussion of a sub-theme with the discussion based on a stimulus card (5-6 minutes. • Presentation (2 minutes) and discussion (9-10 minutes) of Individual Research Project.
