Assessment

The A-level will be assessed in the following ways: Paper 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology (Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology) – this is a two-hour paper comprised of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions totalling 96 marks. Paper 2: Psychology in Context (Psychology, Biopsychology, Research Methods, Research Design) – this is a two-hour paper comprised of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions totalling 96 marks. Paper 3: Issues and Options in Psychology (Issues and Debates, Relationships, Schizophrenia, Forensic Psychology) – this is a two-hour paper comprised of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions totalling 96 marks.
