Entry Requirements

The finance and marketing units of the course have numeracy within them, where pupils will need to be able to manipulate and interpret data; so it is expected that pupils who start the course will have at least a grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. Extended writing is part of the assessment criteria for all parts of the course; so it is expected that pupils who start the course will also have a grade 4 in GCSE English Language. The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Business is a suitable study route for all pupils who have a genuine interest in learning about the business sector.
