Entry Requirements

Entry for external candidates at 16+ is conditional upon a candidate achieving a minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 – 5 (or equivalent), including a minimum Grade 6 in the subjects proposed for study at A Level or can provide evidence that they would succeed in the given subject at A Level standard. Psychology will suit students who are curious about the social world, but who are also comfortable with biological concepts. There is no requirement to have studied Psychology at GCSE, but a strong foundation in Biology, Mathematics and English is desirable, in order to bring the appropriate skills to the course.
