1. Written examination (two and a half hours) 50% - The exam covers the theory elements of the course and includes a technical drawing task and a 15% applied maths component. 2. Design and Make project 50% This will involve: • Identifying a design problem • Developing a range of potential solutions • Building a prototype in the school workshop • Evaluating the prototype
