Course summary

A Level Chemistry will you take beyond the models of understanding taught in GCSE towards a more realistic and more complete conceptualisation of the physical world around you. Why do chemical reactions occur, and can we explain and control their outcomes? Chemistry is the study of substances their compositions, structures and interconversions. A Level chemistry is a for pupils curious about the world around them and who ask “why”? As an analytical subject, you will develop critical thinking skills and will use your numeracy to spot patterns and trends as well as learning to solve a wide range of interesting problems.
