Entry Requirements

At least 5 GCSE grades at 6 or above and Maths and English at a minimum of grade 5. Entry is competitive and spaces are limited so most students have significantly higher grades. Some students who only just make the entry requirement are asked to enter a probationary or review period. A Grade 6 in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE is the ideal minimum requirement. A willingness to open your mind to new ideas and interpretations, an eagerness to participate in class debate, the motivation to read independently and widely.
