Course summary

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world after English and Chinese. It is easy to pronounce and has 30%-40% of cognates with English which makes building a broad vocabulary less challenging. As an advanced linguist after completing your Spanish A Level, you will be joining an elite group of people to which the doors to all kinds of industries are opened. The two main topics are: - Social issues and trends - Political and artistic culture These themes are combined with the study and deeper understanding of Spanish grammar. There is also the opportunity to study literary texts and films, as part of the course. The full A Level language specification (7692) can be found on the AQA website.
