Course summary

This is an exciting and dynamic course for those wishing to develop their language skills. A significant departure from GCSE, the syllabus offers the opportunity to learn about French history and culture and to keep abreast of contemporary social and cultural developments in French-speaking countries. One-to-one weekly lessons ensure students have the necessary oral skills to communicate meaningfully with native speakers. Students will hone translation skills alongside short essay writing, and listening and reading.
