How you’ll be assessed In single Mathematics, you’ll take three exams at the end of Year 13 (or Year 12 if you’re studying Double Mathematics). Two will be in Pure Mathematics, the third in Statistics & Mechanics. In Further Mathematics, you’ll take four exams at the end of Year 13. Two will be in Further Pure Mathematics and two in areas you’ve chosen from a range of options. You’ll be able to use a calculator in all your exams.
