Paper 1 (50%) 2 hour 30 minutes written exam Listening, reading and translation covering a range of topics Paper 2 (20%) 2 hours written exam One essay (400 words) on the film and one essay (400 words) on the text. Paper 3 (30%) 21-23 minutes (incl. 5 mins preparation time) Oral exam Conversation on a card related to a topic (5-6 mins) Conversation on pupil’s chosen Research topic (9-10 mins)
