How is the course assessed? Written examination: 2 hrs 30 mins (40%) This includes listening, analysis and essay questions. Solo and/or ensemble performance coursework: (35%) This should last between 10-12 minutes and should be between Grade 7-8 standard. Composition coursework: (25%) Two pieces lasting between 4 ½ - 6 minutes in total.
