Assessment

The course is assessed with three exams at the end of year 13. Pupils also gain practical skills throughout the course. These are assessed in the written examinations and in the practical endorsement. Paper: Modelling physics 100 marks 2 Hours 15 Minutes 37% Weighting Assessed topics: Assesses content from modules 1, 2, 3 and 5 Paper: Exploring physics 100 marks 2 Hours 15 Minutes Weighting : 37% Assessed topics: Assesses content from modules 1, 2, 4 and 6 Paper: Unified physics 70 marks 1 Hour 30 Minutes Weighting: 26% Assessed topics: Assesses content from all modules (1 to 6)
