Assessment

Unit 1: Personal Investigation 60% of A-Level You will submit a practical portfolio of work based upon a starting point of your choosing. You will also complete a related written study of 1000-3000 words. Unit 2: Externally set assignment 40% of A-Level You will respond to a specific theme provided by OCR. You will produce preparatory studies based on this topic, then produce an outcome within 15 hours of controlled time. All work is then internally marked, moderated and externally moderated. There are four (equally weighted) assessment objectives which cover recording and exploring, analysing and evaluating, investigating and developing, and realising intentions.
