Course summary

The A Levels in Latin and Greek continue along similar lines to the GCSE: half of the qualification is language, the other half is literature. The format of the Latin A Level and the Greek A Level are the same, and so they are described together here. However, you can choose to study one or the other, although some boys choose to study both. The new A Levels in Latin and Greek, which were examined for the first time in 2018, are not very different from those taught in recent years.
