Course summary

As the world becomes more globalised and connected, it is more important than ever to understand how natural and human influenced processes shape the planet; for better and for worse. The study of Geography allows students to evaluate these processes and research the possible solutions to many of the world’s current issues, whilst it provides context for understanding countless cultures and societies across continents and ecosystems. As a subject, it makes what is going on around us relatable – providing explanations for constructs and phenomenon, such as: natural disasters, development, sport, international relations, social media and many more.
