Paper 1: Introductory topics in Psychology (33.3% weighting) The content of this paper includes topics on social influence, memory, attachment and psychopathology. Students will be assessed in a 2-hour written exam. Paper 2: Psychology in context (33.3% weighting) The content of this paper includes topics on approaches in Psychology, biopsychology and research methods. Students will be assessed in a 2-hour written exam. Paper/Component 3: Issues and options in Psychology (33.3% weighting) The content of this paper includes topics on issues and debates in Psychology. Students will then study 3 options; relationships, gender, cognition and development, schizophrenia, eating behaviour, stress, aggression, forensics and addiction. Students will be assessed in a 2-hour written exam.
