Assessment
History A Level is a two-year linear course with all assessment taking place in the second year. Each taught unit culminates in a written exam with a mixture of source and knowledge-based essay questions. The non-examined assessment is an independently researched essay of 3000-4000 words in length accounting for 20% of the final A Level grade.
