30% Paper 1 – Technical Principles Written examination: 2 hours 30 minutes = 30% of the total A Level (120 marks) 20% Paper 2 – Designing and Making Principles Written examination: 1 hour 30 minutes = 20% of the total A Level (80 marks) 50% NEA – Practical Application of Technical Principles, Designing and Making Principles Substantial design and make project = 50% of the total A Level (100 marks)
