Assessment

A Level assessment consists of three x 2 hour written exams taken at the end of the two-year course. Each exam will be worth a third of the A Level. Paper 1: Questions will be drawn from Theme 1 and Theme 4, and from local, national and global contexts. Paper 2: Questions will be drawn from Theme 2 and Theme 3, and from local, national and global contexts. Paper 3: Investigating business in a competitive environment. Questions will be drawn from all four themes and in national, and global contexts. A pre-released context document allows the students to investigate the industry, and businesses in the industry at all levels.
