Entry Requirements

A grade 6 at Mathematics GCSE is required to study this course, given the importance of logical thought and ability to handle data. In addition to an ability to think logically and analytically, a hard-working approach is essential for those that seek top grade success. Economics has seen a significant increase in popularity in recent years; much of this is due to the topicality and accessibility of the material and the ease with which it combines with a multitude of other subjects. For those wishing to study a pure Economics course at university, Maths A level will generally be required (and in a few cases Further Maths).
