History

Entry Requirements

A Level History is a challenging and in depth qualification and students will be expected to do individual research on top of the work that is covered in lesson. Students will be expected to analyse and evaluate different types of historical sources and reach conclusions relating to their validity and utility. Students will be expected to read journals and take an interest in current events to enrich their study of history. Students should have achieved a B grade or higher at GCSE to be successful in this A Level.
