The Extended Project Qualification, which has proved to be both popular and successful, is the most commonly chosen. This extended piece of accredited research is designed to stimulate intellectual curiosity and to develop academic skills through the exploration of a topic outside a student’s classroom syllabus. It is highly valued by universities and allows students the experience of more undergraduate-style study. All students in the Lower Sixth embark on an EPQ.
