Assessment

The examination consists of a 45-minute paper comprising: Section 1, a mix of reading, grammar, translation and gap-fill exercises; Section 2, an essay of 160-200 words; and Section 3, an optional commentary on a short passage. Questions are based primarily on GCSE content, vocabulary and grammar, enabling candidates to perform to the best of their ability.
