Entry Requirements

It is expected that you achieve a grade A at GCSE Music. You must be a confident performer and composer and must have reached a minimum standard of playing on your instrument which is equivalent to Grade 5 ABRSM. It is also extremely beneficial to have completed grade 5 theory before beginning the course. If you are hoping to study an A Level qualification you will need to have achieved at least 5 grade ‘C’s in 5 separate subjects. This must include a grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics. Our Vocational courses are for those students who achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above.
