Health and Social Care (Double Award)

Assessment

You will be assessed through a combination of coursework and written exams. Grading is pass, merit or distinction. Over the course of the two years you will study 12 units. A minimum of 4 of these will be external examinations, and the rest will be coursework/assessment based. Examples of the units that will be covered include: • Building Positive Relationships • Anatomy and Physiology • Health and Safety • Nutrition for Health • Infection Control • Safeguarding • Creativity and activity for Children and Young People
