A-Level Economics

Course summary

Economics is the study of what influences income, wealth and wellbeing, and how this can be implemented into policy. Economics helps to explain a wide variety of real-world phenomena, but it is not limited to the study of recessions, growth prospects and commodity prices. All AS students will be introduced to Microeconomics and Macroeconomics during their first year of study. Students studying the AS Course will learn how to: apply supply and demand models to economic decision making.
