Module 2: Foundations in Biology; cell structure, biological molecules, enzymes, cell division. Module 3: Exchange and transport: gaseous exchange, transport in animals and plants. Module 4: Biodiversity, evolution and disease; diseases, preventing and the immune system. Module 5: Communication, homeostasis and energy; excretion, neurones and hormone communication, animal and plant responses. Photosynthesis and respiration. Module 6: Genetics, evolution and ecosystems; cellular control, inheritance, genetic engineering, cloning and biotechnology, ecosystems, populations and sustainability.
