Entry Requirements

To be eligible for A Level Mathematics, students need to be predicted to achieve a grade 6 or above in GCSE Higher tier Mathematics. Those who achieve a high grade 5 may also be considered. Candidates predicted a grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics are able to opt for the course if they attend a bridging course which, if needed, will be taking place at the end of August after the GCSE results are available. Days and times to be confirmed by email/phone shortly after results day. External students will need to get in touch with the Head of Maths if they have achieved a grade 5.
