History

Entry Requirements

GCSE History at band 6 or above, together with a band 5 or above in English. If you wish to do the A-Level with a band 5 in History it may be necessary to meet with the Head of Department/member of the Sixth Form team to discuss your suitability for the subject. If you wish to study A-Level without having taken History GCSE this is permissible as long as you have achieved a grade 6 or above in English Language.
