Universities recognise A level geography as covering more skills than any other A level subject. Furthermore, those with powerful and effective communication skills are highly valued by employers. In today’s world geography is an extremely relevant subject covering issues ranging from the need to curb urban growth, how international migration should be handled and the consequences of climate change. Employers in many fields are keen to employ those who have studied and given some in-depth thought to these issues.
