Assessment
The A Level course is examined through three external examinations, each two hours long. Paper 1 is titled The Natural Environment and Species Survival. Paper 2 is Energy Exercise and Coordination. Paper 3 is General and Practical Applications in Biology The practical endorsement for the course is internally assessed but externally monitored. 10% of the assessment will be using mathematics and statistical testing.
