Qualification Code 6018727X You may choose to study French or Spanish to either A or AS Level. An A Level in a Modern Foreign Language is always highly regarded by top universities and employers. The Modern Languages courses emphasise the integration of the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking and the study of “contemporary society” with reference to countries where the languagesstudied are spoken. Resourcesinclude; recorded television programmes, magazine, newspaper and articles downloaded from the Internet as well as text books. Students are asked to subscribe to “Authentik” publications. At present we have immersion trips available to both France and Spain.
