Paper 2 is worth 37% of the marks and is based on biological diversity. It is made up of multiple choice, short answer and extended response questions. Paper 3 is worth 26% of the marks and is synoptic, covering all aspects of theory and practical. It is made up of multiple choice, short answer and extended response questions. The fourth aspect of the assessment will be based on mathematical skills.
