Btec First in Applied Science Extended Certificate (double Award) or Diploma (quadrupal award) Merit or Distinction C at GCSE Science Core OR Additional and C or above in GCSE in Maths AND English Language (though a C in Maths and a D in English Language will be accepted if English Language is to be retaken during the AS year)
