DUE TO A LACK OF INTEREST BY APPLICANTS THIS COURSE IS NO LONGER RUNNING The Level 3 National Extended Certificate provides a broad basis of study for the health and social care sector. Throughout the two-year course, learners will develop an understanding of human development, working in the health and social care sector, meeting individual care and support needs, and an appreciation of sociological, physiological and psychological perspectives. The course is an ideal subject for learners who aim to progress to higher education when taken as part of a programme of study alongside other Level 3 Vocational or A-level qualifications.
