Course summary

A level 2 in retail business can be used as stepping stone to studying level 3 business. You will learn about how retail businesses work. You will learn about what customers want from a business and how a business achieves this. You will learn all about the business world looking at different types of ownership and their advantages and disadvantages. Finally you will study a business and make recommendations to improve this business. What you will study: Unit 1: The Customer Experience Unit 2: Retail Business will be externally assessed Unit 3: Retail operations Skills you will gain: Each unit has an applied purpose and enables learners to learn in such a way that they develop: • skills required for independent learning and development • a range of generic and transferable skills • the ability to solve problems • the skills of project-based research, development and presentation • the fundamental ability to work alongside other professionals in a professional environment.
