Certificate in Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) QAN code 60149450/2350 This course develops techniques learnt from GCSE Maths further and links them to real world applications. Subject content includes: Analysis of data, maths for personal finance, estimation, critical analysis of given data and models, critical path analysis, risk analysis, expectation and cost benefit analysis. Although this course is not as demanding as A level Mathematics (it is equivalent to an AS Level) it is still well thought of by many universities, particularly those involving statistics such as sports studies, geography or psychology. * Taught over one year *
