This course is designed with a focus on the integration of language and literature allowing you to discover how linguistic and literary methods are related and to explore these links in your work. If you enjoy reading a wide range of texts, writing creatively and analysing texts through lively discussion then this subject is for you. On this course you will respond creatively and independently with a variety of spoken, written and multi-modal texts. You will learn how to approach re-creative writing, commentary writing, discursive essays and research-based investigative writing which will set you up very well for University or the workplace.
