Assessment

The course is assessed at the end of the second year. There are three examinations, each 2 hours long. Two papers cover the Pure content and the third paper covers Statistics and Mechanics. Calculators may be used in all examinations. The specification is designed to encourage the appropriate use of graphical calculators and computers as tools by which teaching and learning of Mathematics may be enhanced.
