Chemistry

Course summary

Students with an interest in Chemistry or who wish to follow a Science based course at university or in a future career. The course in split up into Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics Chemistry. We look at chemical reactions and how they take place in more detail. Practical skills useful for careers in Chemistry or further study, how to work independently in a practical setting. Teacher led lessons, homework activities, independent work, required practical tasks. A level Chemistry can take you onto employment in a science based industry or into further study at university.
