At UTC Leeds, we’re proud to support students in turning their passions into real-world careers. Nathaniel joined us with a strong interest in design, and during their time here, that passion flourished—leading them to pursue a career as a design engineer.

Thanks to the hands-on experience gained at UTC Leeds, including extensive use of industry-standard software, Nathaniel now works with 2D modelling tools to create, test, and run simulations on production components. Their work is a clear reflection of the technical skill, creativity, and problem-solving mindset developed during their time at our school.

Emily’s passion for geography laid the foundation for her career in construction project management. A graduate of UCT Leeds, she now thrives in a role where she brings the built environment to life—combining spatial insight, practical problem-solving, and a deep appreciation for how places shape people. With each project, Emily turns plans into places that make a lasting impact!
