Course summary

Equivalent to three A Levels. T-Level Engineering Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing equips students with the skills needed for a career in engineering design and manufacturing. The course covers areas such as mechanical and electrical design, materials science, CAD, and manufacturing processes. Students will learn to design, develop, and refine products, working with industry-standard tools and technologies. Through practical projects and industry placements, students gain hands-on experience, preparing them for roles in engineering design, product development, and manufacturing, or progression to higher education in engineering disciplines.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above.

How you'll be assessed

The T-Level Engineering Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing is assessed through: 1. Core Written Exam: Tests knowledge of engineering principles, design processes, and manufacturing methods. 2. Occupational Specialism Assessment: A practical project where students demonstrate their ability to design and develop engineering solutions. 3.
